Chronicles of Bronze
The capital of Kradashire, Malteton is a port city with a thriving economy based around the city being a wayfarer’s stop over onto further reaches of the sea.
The city is constructed as a city on the water. Docks and piers magically and manually crafted form the foundation for the city and stretch many hundreds of feet into the sea. Upon this reinforced dock, the buildings are situated and the city is divided into 6 districts based on functions. The east side of the city is full of warehouses where supplies are kept for various purposes. Next to that coming west, an onlooker would find the bureaucratic quarter, filled with customs offices and department headquarters for government duties. Next is the market square, which is laid out in more of a leaf shape with a main stem bisecting the entire city in a north-south alignment with the veins of the leaf taking the form of alleys where more storefronts are found. The next areas are the residential areas and fishing areas, both at the same east-west locations but the residential taking the side closer to the island. Further beyond this on the far west side of the town is the general area, where most of the professionals needed to keep the city functioning are based.
The town has four major gang groups as well, the Bones, the Teeth, the Scales, and the Skins. Each has its own section of the town that they lay claim to with the exception of the Skins who purportedly back the other gangs discreetly and maintain their order as a sort of assassin’s guild.
